Terms of Service — Hawkin Connect

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hawkin Connect suite of integrations, including the Hawkin Connect for Excel add-in, Hawkin Connect for Google Sheets add-on, Hawkin Connect for R, and Hawkin Connect for Python (collectively, the "Integrations"), provided by Hawkin Dynamics LLC ("Hawkin Dynamics," "we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using any Integration, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Integration.

1. Description of Service

The Hawkin Connect Integrations connect your Hawkin Dynamics account to third-party platforms — including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, R, and Python — enabling you to import athlete profiles, test results, and organizational data into those platforms, and to create or update athlete records via the Hawkin Dynamics API.

2. Eligibility and Account Requirements

To use any Integration you must have a valid Hawkin Dynamics account and a valid Hawkin Dynamics API token. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API token and for all activity that occurs under your credentials.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Integrations only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: (a) use any Integration to access data you are not authorized to access under your Hawkin Dynamics account; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source code of any Integration; (c) use any Integration in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our systems or the Hawkin Dynamics API; or (d) use any Integration to violate any applicable law or regulation.

4. Data and Credentials

The Integrations store your Hawkin Dynamics API token, region, and organization identifier locally within the host platform (for example, in Microsoft Office document settings, Google Apps Script UserProperties, or local environment configuration). This information is used solely to authenticate requests to the Hawkin Dynamics API on your behalf.

We do not collect, transmit, or store your credentials on any Hawkin Dynamics server beyond what is necessary to fulfill API requests. Data retrieved through the Integrations — including athlete profiles, test results, and organizational data — is written to the platform you designate. You are responsible for managing access to that data.

5. Intellectual Property

The Integrations, including all associated code, design, and documentation, are the property of Hawkin Dynamics LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in any Integration.

6. Third-Party Services

The Integrations interact with third-party platforms (such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, R, and Python environments) and the Hawkin Dynamics API. Use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE INTEGRATIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE INTEGRATIONS WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HAWKIN DYNAMICS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE INTEGRATIONS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, FOR THE INTEGRATION IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue any Integration, or your access to it, at any time with or without notice. You may stop using an Integration at any time by uninstalling it. Upon termination, all licenses granted under these Terms will cease.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the effective date of the current version at the top of this page. Continued use of any Integration after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maine.
